The Ron Do Ron is a twice raced four year old, he stands at over 16 hands tall and was recently purchased from Tim Talbot. Ron is extremely well bred, his sire Golden Horn was the champion three year old and horse of the year. Golden Horn won The Derby, The Arc, Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes. He has also excelled in the breeding paddocks having produced a good number of high quality flat and jumps horses, most notably Grade 2 winning novice Nemean Lion. Golden Horn is also responsible for the high class, First Street. Rated 152 at his peak. He has also thrown Nurset, the Grade 2 Adonis Juvenile hurdle winner and the very useful dual purpose winner, Stag Horn who won the Grade 2 Leamington Noivce Hurdle back in early 2022. Ron has made a good impression since arriving at Gary Moore's base in Lower Beeding. Gary is very found of him, he has complemented his mindset and his physical attributes. Ron is very well schooled and is once raced, making his debut in a bumper at Kempton, where he took on older, more experienced horses. Ron was in desperate need of the experience, he was a fast finishing fourth, beaten six lengths. Ron was the eyecatcher and finished off his race extremely well, running past older more experienced rivals. Ron shaped with a great deal of promise and everyone at Ronnie Racing is very hopeful that he can progress and make up into a very smart type.
